Mr. Lube Flyer

The conversion on Mr. Lubes flyer is okay. It does have  a white line which stands out to the reader that no appointment is needed so you can come in when ever it works for you. It also has a free car wash gift card offer when you get any oil change package which could be a good incentive to go and get your oil change done at Mr Lube sooner then later. The layout of this flyer has its pros and cons. When you look at it the first thing you see is that you need to spring clean your car and it is on them. But you then have too look a little closer to find out that you first have to buy and oil change package and then you will receive a $10 Esso car wash gift certificate. The fact that you don't need a appointment is where your eyes go pretty quickly so that is effective. The graphics also on this flyer could use some improvement. The main graphic is a car that is being washed but if you look closely you can see that the car is already clean and which then defeats the purpose of it actually getting washed. The layout is clean and easy to read which is a good thing. The text on this flyer is pretty good for the most part. The only part that is somewhat hard to read is 'its on us' which is hand written under the 'Spring clean your car.' Overall this flyer was effective but some minor details to clean it up and make it a little bit easier to understand could have been done.

Social Media

Teen's Profane tweet about starting a new job gets her fired before her first day
We sometimes use social media without even thinking. We post things that in the future we regret posting, wishing we had never hit that post button. We do it without thinking about who could see this, be it for good or for bad. In the case of this article a young known as "Cella" tweeted herself into trouble, which resulted in her being fired from her job before she had even started.

The response of Robert Waple, the franchise owner, is not surprising. He is the franchise owner of the pizza place and wants his customers to be happy with their service. If he has workers who do not like there job it is going to reflect in the way they work and how they treat and interact with the customers.
Electronic mistakes should not be judged any worse then real world mistakes. Both can be equally bad; electronic mistakes just tend to be judged worse cause they are known to more people via social media and the internet. More people have access to know of the mistake you made rather then just a few people who were there when it happened.

But the real question is 'Will Cella's story prompt some teens to think more carefully about what they publish online, or will the fact that she's gaining an international audience for being fired over Twitter just encourage some to follow suit?'

How the Image Fits the Product

This ad, for Secret outlast deodorant, uses a clock for its main picture to grab the viewers attention. This image shows  that this deodorant has longer lasting odour protection. It reinforces their slogan 'Odour protection that never stops', showing the consumer that this product does have a long lasting result.
